The ten most expensive craft items on AliExpress.com

^Please note this blog post shows links to affiliate links to AliExpress.com. This means if you make a purchase, I receive some commission from the seller.

Now this post is a bit of fun but also very cool. I am going to list the ten most expensive craft items on AliExpress. I’m not going to list the exact price item, as it changes pending what country you are from. It’s not in any order so have fun reading and checking out the links:

Let’s start:

1. The portable room that could be used as a craft room. Ok, it’s a tiny home! But if you or your family had a piece of land, wouldn’t it be cool to have a tiny home? Or better yet, place it at the back of your house in a yard and turn it into a craft room! It even comes with a kitchen and toilet. #winning. Having a tiny home built for a craft room is pretty awesome.

2. A 9 piece aluminium crochet hook set, in a nice cover. Now you can definitely get crochet hooks and in sets a lot cheaper on AliExpress. But if you want something fancy and in a nice case holder than look no further.

3. You could buy a huge diamond painting 40x50cm x 3. Yes three pieces at 40x50cm. Diamond paintings are fun but too big and they can take years to craft. I personally wouldn’t go any bigger than 40x50cm. It’s a good sized canvas and you will still be able to see the picture easily.

4. If you want to create a miniature DIY kit home, try this one. I used to make miniatures and you do require a lot of patience and tools to help build it. If miniatures is your thing, then check out this cool miniature DIY kit home. Did I mention it comes with a car?

5. I have to say this is on my Wishlist and it’s a cool craft scrapbooking album. Check it out for yourself it’s pretty cool and crafty. It’s definitely a fun way to start scrapbooking!

6. Get hooked on diamond painting and have your own bag holder that holds the 120 drill colours. Not bad! I love a clean way to craft. Just zip up the bag and put away and you wouldn’t even know you were diamond painting. It even has a place to put your diamond painting tools in the bag.

7. If you love reading, why not get your very own sliding door bookcase. The door is glass, so you can still showcase your books and look at your hobby daily. Reading is super fun and buying a place to store books is important to keep them dust free and in good condition.

8. I have to say I do enjoy paint by numbers and in the New Year I will be getting back to it. But wouldn’t it be cool to use your own photo and paint it? This link is a custom paint by numbers. You choose the photo, they choose the paint colours to match the photo and then they ship it to you and you can paint it. Imagine painting your beloved pet or a family photo or something fun you saw while travelling like a roller coaster or some rare animas.

Aww craft is craft, it doesn’t matter the price if it adds value to your craft life then it’s worth it. I hope you enjoyed this blog post!

Reshuffling my craft space for scrapbooking

When you feel uninspired change up your craft space  So I haven’t been scrapbooking as much because I have a set of drawers with stickers, washi tape and other cool stationery and then I have my tub of scrapbooking paper in my cupboard.  I was thinking about what I could do to bring my scrapbooking closer. Here’s a photo of my tub of scrapbooking paper. Look how undesirable it looks. Inside I have large paper about A4 size and A3. Then I have 12x12 inch paper. Plus an ice cream tub full of scrap paper.  It just made me feel unsatisfied and what makes me excited to work on a hobby is that I can see the resources and get excited to get started. But this set-up was not empowering me. I started brainstorming about maybe making a craft space. I found a table from IKEA with draws on both sides that I could put my scrapbooking paper and accessories in as well as my diamond painting. I also found a desk backing which is like a three level high shelving that attaches to the table....

Crocheting my first blanket and how you can to

Finding a relaxing crochet project for beginners So I decided that crocheting animals etc. is pretty stressful. Not really stressful but not relaxing. A cool end result but I wanted to find something to crochet where I didn’t have to count the stitches or focus on the different type of stitches. So I decided to crochet a simple blanket.  I just wanted to use a small amount of stitches and not count them. I didn’t want to do anything fancy. But I still wanted to crochet. I believe if I could find something to stitch that I could just relax doing it than it was worth it. I started googling a simply blanket planet using single crochet stitch. It’s simple start off with the first row with a chain stitch and then turn it over and do the rest with a single crochet stitch. Brilliant.  Why single crochet blankets don't work without a chain stitch So I started crocheting a baby blanket. It didn’t work out. The sides were uneven and the blanket was all different lengths. So I googled an...
