Have you heard of mystery diamond paintings?

I have to say, it was a year ago where I heard about mystery diamond paintings. I am part of hobby groups on Facebook and someone posted their myserty diamond painting. I thought this is pretty cool.

So what is a mystery diamond painting?

Sit down for this. You can buy mystery diamond paintings online. The store owner provides a product where you receive a diamond painting kit but have no idea what the image is until you finish diamond painting it! Pretty cool huh!?

So everything comes in the kit is for the image. All the correct coloured drills etc. It takes out the amount of time we spend looking through pictures we like, and have someone else decide what that picture will be. 

There are no clues either. Normally, there is a little image of the picture on the diamond painting side of the canvas. But for a mystery diamond painting there is no image of it. You literally have to wait till the end to see it.

You can select what type of drills you would prefer for the mystery picture, such as squares or circles, which I think is pretty cool. 

I'm curious, comment below. Would you do a mystery diamond painting?

Personally, this is my thinking. If you are someone who does a diamond painting quite regularly, like once a month, then why not add a mystery diamond painting to your collection? And then when you get up to it, you can wonder as you do it, what the image will be. I find that would be the most funnest part. Trying to work it out as you go, what it is. Maybe half way you might have an idea? Or maybe 3/4 of the way? I guess it really depends on the picture.

I am completing an abstract diamond painting at the moment, so if you received an abstract diamond painting as a mystery painting, it would be so hard to guess what it is and you may have to wait to the very end to get a good look at the image.

For me, I have spent 12 months diamond painting one picture. So, I probably wouldn't get a mystery diamond painting. Only because I have another 10 waiting in line! But definitely one day, I would buy one. Because it is so cool.

Reshuffling my craft space for scrapbooking

When you feel uninspired change up your craft space  So I haven’t been scrapbooking as much because I have a set of drawers with stickers, washi tape and other cool stationery and then I have my tub of scrapbooking paper in my cupboard.  I was thinking about what I could do to bring my scrapbooking closer. But this set-up was not empowering me. I started brainstorming about maybe making a craft space. I found a table from IKEA with draws on both sides that I could put my scrapbooking paper and accessories in as well as my diamond painting. I also found a desk backing which is like a three level high shelving that attaches to the table....

Crocheting my first blanket and how you can to

Finding a relaxing crochet project for beginners So I decided that crocheting animals etc. is pretty stressful. Not really stressful but not relaxing. A cool end result but I wanted to find something to crochet where I didn’t have to count the stitches or focus on the different type of stitches. So I decided to crochet a simple blanket.  I just wanted to use a small amount of stitches and not count them. I didn’t want to do anything fancy. But I still wanted to crochet. I believe if I could find something to stitch that I could just relax doing it than it was worth it. I started googling a simply blanket planet using single crochet stitch. It’s simple start off with the first row with a chain stitch and then turn it over and do the rest with a single crochet stitch.
